St. Patrick's Day Parade
Where: Staging area is the area of 15thSt from Locust to 16th St, then wraps around onto MLK. (Placement number is 61) Parade advances east from 15th and Locust through downtown Des Moines to the Embassy Suites Hotel on east 1st and Locust, approx. 1 mile
When: Arrive at the staging area around 11:00 am. Parade starts at 12:00 noon.
Parade participants are encouraged to hand out candy to youngsters along the route, but please be cautious when throwing candy.
Feel free to dress up yourself and/or your dog. As always, be good doggie neighbors and bring clean up supplies just in case your pup needs
to leave a deposit.
