DIRECTIONS & EVENT SITES

Prairie Beach: A Gathering of Champions is headquartered each year in Altoona, a friendly community on the northeast side of the Des Moines metro area in central Iowa. Prairie Beach guests will need to take Exit 142 off Interstate 80 to reach the hotels where HGA has blocked rooms for the reunion and the city park where Prairie Beach events are held.

Directions to Lions Park: When exiting the Motel 6 or Settle Inn, head east on Adventureland Drive and follow it to 17th Avenue NW. Turn right (south) onto 17th Avenue NW and follow it to Fourth Street SW (there also is a Fourth Street NW, do not turn onto it). Turn left (east) onto Fourth Street SW and follow it to 13th Avenue SW. Turn right (south) onto 13th Avenue SW and follow it to the entrance of Lions Park, which will be on the left.
