Mark your calendar! Prairie Beach 2012 will be Sunday, September 2, 2012!
| Once again, HGA has been invited to host a booth at the Omaha
Home Show! The 2012 Home & Builders Show will run from
Thursday, March 29th through Sunday, April 1st at the
Century Link Center (formerly the Qwest Center – same place,
different name). We are looking for help staffing the HGA booth
and spreading the word about greyhound adoption. Please consider helping out, even if just for a few hours on one of the days. If you are interested in helping, email Kristin your name, cell phone number, the names of any hounds you are bringing (please note if they are fosters), and the time(s) you plan to attend. |
Effective 7-1-11, we have a new program Save a Senior and Save! Greyhounds over 7 years old can be adopted for $175, that means you'll have an extra $75 to spoil these golden greys. Everyone knows a senior is move in ready for their forever home.
HGA is always in need of
volunteers to foster homes, drivers, and
funding. Currently we are looking for a volunteer to begin
planning the raffle or auction for Prairie Beach.
Donations are always welcome! Our adoption fees only cover vet care for our dogs; we rely on donations for all other expenses. If you have items or money you would like to donate, please call Jorene King at 515-967-6564.
